Monthly Newsletter

July 2007
Greetings in the Name of the Lord!
It is our fervent prayer that the God of grace is blessing you! May you know His threefold blessings through the rest of this year.
Numbers 6:24-26
24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
I am excited to share this newsletter on our website. My prayer is that more churches and people will be able to access this information and that as they become aware of the awesome needs in the lives of some of our pastors, they will respond with a giving heart.
Many things have happened since our last newsletter. Our granddaughter, Kaylee, is now a year old and is a rich blessing in all of our lives.
I continue to have problems as a result of the surgery on my left leg three years ago. I have learned to adapt to the physical shortcomings that this has caused. As with all we have our ups and downs, yet we find our Lord to be faithful to guide us each step of the way. This is why we continue to serve and praise our Lord Jesus!
We have another church that has added our ministry in their budget, and we praise the Lord for this. There has also been two individuals that have begun to contribute to our ministry. There are two other individuals that are considering contributing. God has been so gracious
We are in the process of helping a pastor's widow. She has had some physical problems that have caused her some extreme financial distress. Within
the next few days we will start sending her a monthly gift of $75.00. We also need to keep her lifted up in prayer.
Several of the men we have helped in the past are now back In ministry. One is serving full time as a Hospice Chaplin, he is also able to interim and supply preach. Another is on the teaching staff of a Junior College and is serving as an interim pastor. God opens doors in wonderful ways at just the right time.
I am holding on to the vision of four retirement centers, Havens of Rest, and a retreat center, Obidiah's Cave. We are excited by and
praise the Lord for open doors and continue to pray that He will open doors, as we still need at least 500 churches and 1000 individuals to place this ministry in their budget.
Summer is upon us and we have been deeply blessed. As hurricane season swirls around us, we will need to pray for safety and as we pray let's not forget to pray for those who are facing storms that have blown apart a ministry and left churches, pastors and families in turmoil. Please continue to pray for those who are hurting. As you pray for these men and their families ask what you can do to honor Him as you help this ministry!
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
